The annual conference in perinatology organized by the Swedish Society for Perinatal Medicine took place in Stockholm on 24-25 October 2024.
Three members of the N4 research group had abstracts accepted and gave an oral presentation during the conference;
- Medical student and aspiring researcher Erik Häggström presented ‘Updated growth charts for premature infants’
- Pediatrician in training and aspiring PhD student Ludvig Henriksson Frithiof talked about ‘Management of neonatal hyperglycaemia in Sweden – A survey study’
- Neonatologist and PhD student Pontus Challis presented ‘Advancement of enteral feeds and human milk fortifier are not risk factors for late Necrotising Enterocolitis: a dual national cohort study’
To then top this off, Pontus won the award for the best presentation of the conference – Congratulations to Pontus!
